This class incorporates the techniques found in ballet, modern and jazz that gives it a unique look. Contemporary tends to be intricate and physical with many level and directional changes. It deals with abstract concepts or emotional extremes.
Attire: Girls: Leotard with dance shorts and tights or form fitting tank top, dance pants, capris or shorts, tan jazz shoes. Hair secured neatly in a bun, ponytail or braid. Boys: Solid colored T-shirt and black pants (no sweatpants) with bare feet or turner shoes
Co-enrollment in a technique class is required.
