Hip-Hop originated as a free form of street dance, and each teacher and choreographer carries their own distinct style. Hip-Hop classes allow students to explore the latest moves in dance while enjoying age appropriate technique, styles, and music. Students will work different rhythms and movements including floorwork and self-expression channeling the attitude of the music.
Attire: Clothes that are easy to move in (no jeans) and black hip hop shoes (no street shoes/shoes must be designated for class only) Please be sure to change into your hip hop shoes once you are inside the studio. No shoes that are worn outside should be worn on the dance floor.
